The Western Shore.
From epic sets on highland bagpipes and fiddle, to angelic folk songs layered over bouzouki and mandola, to ripping sets of Irish jigs and reels, the lads of Molly's Revenge have expanded their range on their seventh release, "The Western Shore." For this stunning album they enlisted the help of award-winning vocalist and accordionist Moira Smiley. Known nationally for her groundbreaking work with contemporary vocal group VOCO, Moira has proven her traditional skills by winning the West/Midwest USA Division of the All-Ireland Singing Championship.

"The Western Shore" was produced by John Doyle, a founding member of Irish supergroup Solas. Guest performers include percussionist Fraser Stone (Old Blind Dogs), John Doyle, and Moira Smiley. Official release to our retail outlets is set for September 16 but you can buy it now at CDBaby. Molly’s Revenge is pleased to announce that Moira Smiley will be joining the band for select tours in 2008.
